Ok, I'm new to the site so a little bit confused on how to travel around. I saw the post about the video and where it came from. I saw you graduated in '88 from SK and my sister did as well, Christie Moore. My dad graduated in '67, mom '68, sis '88 and bro '91. We're all Pioneers!!
I am really interested in local history and I think I know a great contact for some old pics of Independence back in the day. I am now teaching at Boone County High School.

Steve, I enjoyed lookig at the Sk yearbook from 1939. I was born and raised in Independence. When I get home to visit, I always drive around and am amazed at the changes! I married a military man and so we do not live near Cincinnati anymore. Thank you for sharing what you find about Independence.
